Motorcyclist killed in Red Hills freak crash

ST ANDREW, Jamaica – Police in St Andrew are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a motorcyclist in Red Hills district in the parish yesterday.

He has been identified as Ricardo Burnside of a Carr Hill address in the parish.

Reports from Red Hills police are that about 2:00 pm the driver of a Toyota Hiace van parked his vehicle on the side of the road and entered a business establishment. Shortly after an impact was heard; checks were made and Burnside was seen beside the parked vehicle along with his motorcycle. Burnside sustained multiple injuries and was assisted to hospital where he reportedly died while being treated.
