Businessman shot and injured in St Ann

ST ANN, Jamaica — A St Ann businessman and a colleague were shot and injured by gunmen in the wee hours of Thursday morning in what appeared to be a case of attempted robbery.

Reports from the police are that at about 2:30 am three masked men went to a businessman’s home in Runaway Bay.

The men knocked on the front door before opening fire and kicking the door open.

They then demanded money before shooting both men and fleeing the property.

Both victims have since been admitted to the hospital in stable condition.

The Runaway Bay police continue investigations.
