UPDATE: Dead woman’s common-law husband turns himself in
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police are reporting that 35-year-old Phillip Brown, a construction worker of Old Hope Road, St Andrew, turned himself in to detectives assigned to the St Andrew Central Police this morning

Reports are that about 12:55 am, Brown, who was accompanied by relatives, turned himself in to the police.

He was wanted in relation to the murder of 31-year-old Kerry-Ann Wilson.
The police say that the body was found wrapped in a tarpaulin at her home about 9:05 am yesterday. It is alleged that Brown beat her to death.
Brown will be interviewed in the presence of his attorney before charges are laid, the police say.
