Gas prices down $1.25, diesel down $0.64
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, December 15, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $100.16 and $101.82 per litre, respectively, down by $1.25 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $94.74 per litre following a decrease of $0.64, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.88, and will be sold for $104.47 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.28 and will be sold for $87.10 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $34.02 per litre, down by $0.30 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $42.41 per litre after a decrease of $0.08.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
