UPDATE: Driver of car that crashed at NMIA in police custody

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The driver of the motor vehicle that crashed into a section of the departure lounge at the Norman Manley International Airport this morning, has been taken into police custody.Read: PHOTOS: Motor car ‘checks in’ to Norman Manley International Airport

The police say that the crash took place about 6:45 am, when the driver was allegedly trying to park the motor vehicle but lost control of it.

No one was injured in the incident and the police say the driver’s identity is being withheld at this time.
