UCASE challenges for NHT unionised staff
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) is to conduct representational rights polls involving over 260 employees of the National Housing Trust (NHT) at various locations across the island on Tuesday, January 10.
The polls will be conducted at NHT locations in Montego Bay, Kingston, May Pen, Mandeville, Spanish Town and Ocho Rios, between 8:00 am and 12 noon, except for Kingston, where the majority of the employees will vote at the New Kingston head office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
The poll involves the Trust’s middle management and supervisory staff. UCASE will be represented by its president, Vincent Morrison; general secretary, John Levy; and organiser, Paul Works.
