5.2 magnitude earthquake felt in Portland and Portmore
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Sections of the island were rattled by an earthquake with a magnitude 5.2 this morning.
The Earthquake Unit at the University of The West Indies, Mona Campus said the quake, which occurred at 4:09 am, was located off the South Coast of Cuba at a focal depth of 11 kilometres.
The quake was felt in Portmore, St Catherine and Snow Hill, Portland.
