Elderly man found dead at Treasure beach

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Detectives assigned to the Pedro Plain Police Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a senior citizen, whose body was found on a local beach in St Elizabeth last night.

Dead is 70-year-old Vernon Nembhard of Forth Charles district in the parish.

Residents reportedly found his body about 9:00 pm at Treasure Beach.

The police were alerted and on their arrival the scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.
