Seeking My Dream set for 2017 debut
New promoter of horse racing, Supreme Ventures Limited through its recently formed company, Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited, could be blessed on their first race programme on Saturday (March 11) by the presence of reigning Horse of the Year Seeking My Dream and the top three-year-old of last year, Bigdaddykool.
Both horses have been provisionally entered for the Chairman’s Trophy – a Grade One event over seven-and- a-half furlongs (1,500m). A total of 14 horses have been entered for this race which is regarded as one of the stellar events in the first quarter of the racing year.
As to be expected, Seeking My Dream winner of the 2016 Diamond Mile, is slated to carry top weight of 126 lbs (57.0 kgs) with the Richard Azan trained Franfield next in line with 53.5 kgs. Entered to compete for the first time as a four-year-old,Bigdaddykool is handicapped with 52.0 kgs.
The race on paper features a number of other talented horses who are afforded good chances of winning. These include the rough and tough
Campesino who has won two race thus far this season; Brawn who continues to show improvement;Houdini’s Magic who did well in last year’s Diamond Mile and the solid old stager, Perfect Neighbour.
