Cops head to central Jamaica for culprits in overseas job scam
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A major anti-fraud operation is currently underway in central Jamaica targeting individuals who have fleeced unsuspecting people of money with the hope of providing them with overseas employment, through the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
The operation is being carried out by operatives from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA), along with other police personnel from Mobile Reserve SWAT and Clarendon operational support teams and members of the military.
