Police hold 20-y-o with firearm
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police is reporting that a 20-year-old man was yesterday held with a firearm and several rounds of ammunition on Maiden Lane in downtown Kingston.
The Central Kingston Police say that the 20-year-old, Alex Dennis, otherwise called ‘Dada’, of a Manley Meadows, Kingston 2 address, was spotted acting suspiciously by lawmen at about 9:35 am Sunday.
Dennis was reportedly accosted and a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver along with six .38 cartridges found in his possession.
He is to appear in the Gun Court at a later date.
