Five men arrested after cops find illegal firearm

ST MARY, Jamaica — The police in St Mary are reporting that five men were taken into custody following the seizure of a firearm in Prospect in the parish on Wednesday.

Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that about 11:00 pm, lawmen were on operation in the White River area when a premises was search and a .38 Taurus revolver, with five rounds of ammunition, was found.

Investigations continue.
