Samfi follows up with Metro A
Following the encouraging response to her song Metro A Come, deejay Samfi is preparing a follow-up single and EP.
The self-produced
Metro A Come was released in 2016 on her Fruit Basket label.
It salutes the Jamaican vendors, whom Samfi considers unsung heroes. She also produced the song’s video which was filmed at Porus Market in her hometown of Porus, Manchester.
“I know this is just the tip of the iceberg; it’s a very long way to the top of the music business but I’m working hard to build on the momentum I am now enjoying,” she said.
Metro A Come is Samfi’s (Sophia Mullings) first song. She will release a new single in May with an EP scheduled for August.
