Jamaican-born evangelist Patricia Cole, a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, has initiated a massive bible collection drive in her adopted United States, in an effort to put copies of the Holy Book in the hands of every Jamaican.

“We will not pass anyone by,” Cole declared.

According to the devout Christian, who hails from Bunker’s Hill in Trelawny, she was instructed by the Almighty during a dream to embark on the massive

Bible distribution drive.

“The Lord also told me that there are many without

bibles and we are to make sure every person in the nation get abible and start reading and he will send the Holy Spirit to teach all truth,” Cole remarked.

The Seventh-day Adventist member, who is expected in the island soon, stated that she will be approaching the West Jamaica Conference of Seventh- day Adventists to partner with the project.

She believes that the

Bible distribution initiative will assist in the efforts to reduce crime and violence in the society.

Cole added that in one of the series of dreams she had, it was revealed by the Lord that it was by divine intervention — resulting from a copious amount of prayers — why Jamaica was miraculously spared the devastating winds of Hurricane Matthew.

“The angel told me that the white things I saw moving around over houses and lands during Hurricane Matthew were angels Jesus sent to hold back the hurricane from hitting the praying nation as it was heading to destroy us like what happened in Haiti,” Cole said.
