What you need…

Colourful eyeshadows, glitter, glitter adhesive (cosmetic glue) or a great substitute — glitter glue from the craft store — and multi-coloured gems.

The Application:

Cleanse the face with make-up remover or facial wipes.

Moisturise and prime face for a longer-lasting finished look.

Apply foundation and powder with matching shade to avoid creasing. Powder seals make-up and reduces shine.

Once you’ve decided on a look apply eyeshadow primer which allows for brighter and longer-lasting wear.

Quick steps to enhance the eyes

Create definition or dimension: place a darker colour in the crease of the eyelids. Avoid bringing the eyeshadow all the way to the brow unless you are going for something way more dramatic.

Apply bold colours: in a vivid colour of your choice apply on the eyelids.

If applying glitter to the eyelids you would continue the same procedure of applying eyeshadow for a vibrant finish.

Place gems (using cosmetic glue) wherever you feel comfortable.
