Huge turnout for Ova Suh
The massive turnout at last Saturday’s Ova Suh was testimony that the event continues to grow with each staging.
Held at the Triple Century Parking Lot in New Kingston, the event was promoted by Team No Shirt (TNS).
The party featured top sounds and selectors who provided the musical ambience to keep patrons entertained throughout the proceedings.
Newcomers and Youth View Awards-nominated Rebel Sound, with DJ Antsman and Kevez at the controls, whipped up a musical frenzy by unleashing hip-hop, dancehall and reggae treats.
Bishop Escobar, Di Unit and Code Red (with DJ Lank and Chris Diamond) were also in good form as they played hits after hits.
The vibe was nothing short of epic, smooth and consistent transition of musical eras, said co-promoter Jermane Davis.
He added: “The turnout was great. We continue to see and appreciate the growth that we have and will continue to receive.”
Olympian Usain Bolt was seen partying among the crowd.
The next staging of Ova Suh is scheduled for June 24 in New Kingston.
