9. KSAC employee fined $200K for corruption
Fabian Cawley, a field officer, employed to the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) was recently fined $200,000 or 30 days in prison for breaching the Corruption Prevention Act.
10. Student killed in Venezuela protests
A 19-year-old student died Tuesday after being shot during clashes between police and demonstrators protesting against Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro, prosecutors said on Tuesday.
