UPDATE: Men killed in stolen bus crash identified
ST ANN, Jamaica —Two men who died last week after the bus they stole overturned into a precipice in St Ann have been identified.
According to the police, the men are 34-year-old Marvin Murray, a labourer of Waltham Avenue, Kingston 13, and 25-year-old Rolando Laoe, also a labourer, of 2 Greendale Close, Kingston 19.
The men reportedly stole the 15-seater Toyota Hiace bus from a yard in Wild Cane, Cave Valley Tuesday morning, April 4. They crashed in the neighboring community of Cascade at about 7:45 am as they made their escape. The vehicle reportedly ran off the Bottom Cascade main road.
One of the men reportedly died at the scene of the crash while the other died while being treated at hospital.
