Party with a cause
The second staging of Tanlines Day Soiree is set to unfold at the picturesque Palms at the Palmyra Resort in Montego Bay, St James, on Easter Monday, April 17.
The all-inclusive occasion is produced by the team dubbed The Society. The event will feature a bar located in the sea, as well as massage booths within the cabanas.
Sandra Clarke, event coordinator, explained that the concept of the party is to provide excellent entertainment and still be charitable during this season.
“Patrons will get the chance to enjoy a superb beach party experience with some of the finest DJs, great food and premium drink mixes courtesy of Smirnoff, and still be mindful of the less fortunate during the Easter season. Part proceeds from the event will be used for charity,” Clarke told
Jamaica Observer.
“We are going to have a street people-feeding initiative on April 23 in Sam Sharpe Square in Montego Bay in memory of Marilyn Nash of the Flanker Resource Centre. She was a selfless individual and a true philanthropist and we happy to be able to honour her in this way,” said Clarke.
Tanlines Day Soiree is scheduled for 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. DJs Jigga from Montego Bay, Pressley Hype from Ocho Rios, and Sekou from St Mary have been rostered to handle musical juggling.
