KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Tissanna Hickling made a 6.22-metre leap to claim the Under-20 girls’ long jump at the 2017 FLOW CARIFTA Games this morning.
Hickling, a St Jago High School standout, finished ahead of Trinidad and Tobago’s Tyra Gittens (6.10m), and Daejha Moss (5.86m) of the Bahamas.
The Games continue today with Jamaica expected to extend their dominance and possibly surpass last year’s 86-medal haul.
