Antigua cops hunt Jamaican involved in robbery
ST JOHN’S, Antigua (CMC) — The police in Antigua and Barbuda are on the hunt for a Jamaican man who was reportedly involved in a recent robbery at a travel agency earlier this month.
The man, 22 yeas old Anthony Kenroy Hamilton allegedly went to Innovative Travel & Tours, on April 7, armed with a gun.
The police say he bound and gagged the female owner, before robbing her of an undisclosed sum of money and her purse.
According to the police report, a witness pursued the man before reporting the robbery to a police officer who gave chase, but eventually lost sight of the suspect.
The police say Hamilton is considered armed and dangerous and have urged to him to immediately surrender at any police station.
