If you are a regular at street dances or parties, it’s hard not to hear one of Singer J’s songs blaring from a sound system.

The singer, who saw a career revival last year thanks to the hit single Can’t Stop Me Now, is currently one of the most talked about singers.

His latest track, I Am Chosen , courtesy of Pay Day Music, has been making the rounds and is arguably one of the most played songs on radio.

“This is a song that everyone can relate to. When I sing, I sing from the heart,” said Singer J.

His catalogue of songs and his stage persona were on show at the recently televised Magnum Kings & Queens of the Dancehall. Singer J sat on the “Digicel Endz’ with host Boasy Boy Floyd and gave advice to some of the contestants.

At the end of the show he proceeded to perform a string of hits which kept the crowd and judges Miss Kitty, Professor Nuts, and Skatta on a musical high.

Later that evening he made his presence felt at the weekly dancehall session British Saturdays, which is held on Waltham Park Road in Kingston. He also performed at Bess FM’s Road Show in Half-Way-Tree.

“Big up Tallman and Di Unit for making it possible,” said Singer J.

Singer J recently launched his VEVO channel. He is also promoting the songs Put Jah First and Without You Lord.

On Saturday, April 29, he is billed to perform alongside Bounty Killer in Bog Walk, St Catherine.
