Lasco Blooming Baby 3 launched

MONTEGO BAY, St James — The third staging of the Lasco Blooming Baby Jamaica family expo and fair was officially launched at the Deja All Inclusive Resort last Thursday under the theme: ‘Cherish, Nourish, Flourish.’

Highlighting the theme of the event, the title sponsor, Lasco, as well as supporting sponsors Cari-Med and Massy Distribution, pulled out all the stops with their line of products geared towards the health and wellness of a growing baby and mother. The event brings together a series of events celebrating the entire family.“The expo and fair has always been to provide experiences for the entire family to enjoy. It offers great branding opportunities to exhibitors, and patrons to this admission-free event, as families have fun while learning about the best products and practices to prepare and care for their families,” organisers say.The main event will be held at the Old Hospital Park on Gloucester Avenue in Montego Bay on Saturday May 21, starting at 11:00 am.From its inception, the mandate of the series of events has been to give back to families who need a helping hand with welcoming a newborn to the world, as well as for a growing toddler. With this in mind, the first event of the Lasco Blooming Baby Jamaica kicked off on Sunday, April 30 at Fontana Pharmacy with the launch of a collection drive for baby supplies. And, for the entire month of May, a specially branded receptacle will be stationed at Fontana Pharmacy, Montego Bay, where the public is invited to drop off baby supplies ranging from diapers to pacifiers, as well as maternity supplies for expectant mothers.According to the organisers, the selected charity for this year is the maternity ward of the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
