Bounty leaves stage during clash with Beenie Man
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Media reports out of Trinidad are suggesting that dancehall artiste, Bounty Killa stormed off the stage at a music festival Saturday, abandoning fellow headliner Beenie Man mid-performance.
According to reports, Bounty, whose real name is Rodney Price was in the middle of a song-for-song segment with Beenie Man (Moses Davis) when he turned and walked off the stage.Bounty later left the Guinness Fully Loaded Music Festival, held at the Jean Pierre Complex in Mururapo.The joint appearance by the long-time rivals had been billed as a festival of peace, love and sound.Bounty was reportedly seen backstage pacing back and forth as Beenie Man asked for his return to the stage.When Beenie Man finally declared that the show would go on in Bounty’s absence, he was then seen making his exit from the venue, the media report said.Efforts to contact Bounty Killa or his management team have since been proven futile.
