MONTEGO BAY, St James — Title favourites Catherine Hall FC will kick off the semi-finals of the St James Football Association Sandals International Senior League today when they take on Lilliput Rovers in the first game of a double-header at the UDC Field set to start at 1:00 pm.

Seba FC, who finished second overall and who are coming off a big 5-1 win over Marl Road last week, will face Heights FC in the second game set to start at 3:30 pm with the return-leg games set for next week at the same venue.Catherine Hall FC, who were beaten in last season’s final by Faulkland FC, topped the table with 28 points from 13 games and lost just once.They were the joint top scoring and best defensive team in the competition.They finished six points ahead of Lilliput Rovers, who they drew 0-0 with in their only meeting in the league this season, in the third round, but will have the advantage.Lilliput Rovers’ Jeremie Bucknor is the top scorer in the competition with seven goals and his team will be hoping he can maintain his good scoring form this season against the Catherine Hall team that has only allowed seven goals all year.Kemario Murdock, Javern Palmer and Donovan Flowers are the top scorers for Catherine Hall, combining for 12 of the team’s 23 goals. In Kemar Reid, they also have a great asset.Seba FC were beaten 2-0 by Heights FC in their third-round meeting and will hope to get some measure of revenge today as they are on a roll with two games last week against a team that completed their schedule a week earlier.Keith Clarke scored a hat-trick for Seba FC in their must-win game against Marl Road last week and he will carry the team’s hopes, while Wade Daley and Kemar Brown have both scored five goals each for Heights FC.— Paul Reid
