KINGSTON, Jamaica – 2015 Magnum King of the Dancehall winner Devin Di Dakta has become the first winner from the televised competition to earn an entry on the US Billboard charts.

His collaboration Oh Devil with California based Electric Guest, debuts at number 47 on the Hot Rock Songs chart.

“Making the billboard chart is a great accomplishment that I’m thankful for. I’m feeling excited right now,” he said.

He explained how the collaboration came about.

“They reached out to us about the feature on the song after they saw my work on the Internet and fell in love my musical style,” said Devin.

Magnum Tonic Wine Marketing Manager Tamika West was excited upon hearing the news of Devin’s Billboard entry. The brand has supported Devin even throughout his recent journey to the Grammy awards.

“Devin cracking the Billboard Hot Rock Song chart with this collaboration is one more way that Dancehall culture has broken through the glass ceiling of popular international music. Devin is booked for Reggae Sumfest dancehall night which takes place on Friday July 21 at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay.
