Magnitude 4.3 quake rocks sections of Dom Rep
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (CMC) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 was felt across southern and central parts of the Dominican Republic on Wednesday evening.
The Seismological Institute of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo said the tremor was located 12 kilometres north of San José de Ocoa at a depth of 10 kilometres.
According to a report from the Civil Defence Department, the tremor was felt in the Greater Santo Domingo and surrounding areas
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
