Curfew imposed in Denham Town
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have imposed a curfew in Denham Town, Kingston 14 which began at 5:00 am, today and will remain in effect until 5:00 am on Thursday.
The boundaries of the curfew are north along Greenwich Street leading onto Blount Street continuing along an imaginary line behind the Golden Heights community from Albert Street to Rose Lane; east along Rose Lane from the northern boundary to Beeston Street; south, along Beeston Street continuing onto Spanish Town Road from the eastern boundary to Last Street; west, along Last Street leading onto Market Street continuing onto Albert Street from Spanish Town Road to Greenwich Street on the northern boundary.
The police cautioned that during the hours of the curfew all individuals within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of security forces who are in charge of enforcing the curfew.
