MoBay Expo 2017 gets thumbs up
MONTEGO BAY, St James – The 17th staging of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) biennial expo has been given the thumbs up by exhibitors and attendees.
The three-day event unfolded at the spacious Montego Bay Convention Centre from October 13-15, attracting over 60 exhibitors and hundreds of attendees.
The expo featured timely seminars on the creative industries, young entrepreneurs, Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and tourism, as well as providing opportunities for business-to-business networking.
“The expo for me was a great experience and I am looking forward to it being an annual event, as well as more retailers taking part,” stated creative entrepreneur Courtney Washington.
Patron Dionne DeFreitas expressed similar sentiments.
“The expo was very interesting and exciting, the entertainment and auto exhibits were very nice and I also got the opportunity to learn about the possibilities of working with Yello,” she explained.
“It was good for us, we had an excellent opportunity for brand awareness and to get feedback from our customers, as well as making new connections,” said Yang Sen Li, CEO of Beauty Queen Trade Co Ltd.
The entertainment and auto exhibitors also found favour with patrons. Sandals Encore, Hah-r-mony Entertainment and Showjam Entertainment presented some of the best of local and regional talent, while auto dealers ATL, Fidelity and Hyundai showcased the latest offerings from their respective brands.
