Firearm and ammunition found in St Catherine

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Police seized one firearm and 23 rounds of assorted ammunition during an operation on Valdez Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine this morning.

Reports from the Spanish Town police are that about 4:00 am, lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched and one .38 Magnum revolver and 23 assorted rounds of ammunition was found.

Police say no one was arrested in relation to the seizure.

Investigations continue.
