UPDATE: Scorpions 208-7 vs Volcanoes at tea
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica Scorpions stumbled to 208-7 at tea on Friday in the fifth-round regional four-day game at Sabina Park in reply to Windward Islands Volcanoes 200.
The Scorpions left-hand opening batsman John Campbell has top-scored so far with a 79-ball 71.
Fabian Allen is not out on 39, while Damion Jacobs is on two. Off-spinner Shane Shillingford has taken 4-54 for the Volcanoes.
Scores: Volcanoes 200 (83 overs); Scorpions 208-7 (73 overs)
Veteran left-hand opener Devon Smith led the Volcanoes on Thursday’s opening day with 116 not out.
The home team’s left-arm finger spinner and skipper Nikita Miller claimed 5-60.
