You’re all a big bunch of hypocrites

The more things change in Jamaica is the more some people wish that they remain the same. That’s not happening because the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) holds the reigns in government and, oh, how it hurts.
So, after the JLP came up with the idea to advancing the implementation of a national identification system (NIDS) and putting in a mandatory clause for citizens to pay a fine of $100,000 if they don’t sign up — instead of repeatedly just chatting about it for years, like the People’s National Party (PNP) did when they were in Government and proposed the logistics hub — the PNP wants the country to believe that forming a joint select committee of Parliament to do more chatting is preferred.
What proof is there to convince the nation that a joint select committee with the PNP lasting for months, or forever, will produce a Midas touch? If it doesn’t work what’s next, we forget about a national ID? That’s backward thinking and I fail to see the forward thinkers in those 10 groups who joined the PNP in the Sunday paper to sell their souls while seeking relevance. My advice, try showbiz or Idiotest.
We get it, the PNP still thinks they own Jamaica, after being in power for so long. I’m imploring its members, however, to wake up and smell the coffee, chocolate, Milo, cocoa, or whatever else they want to mix to realise that Jamaicans have collectively cut that rope of bondage. They appear to be mired in delusional behaviour and their rhetoric, aided by twisted rationale. May heaven help them.
Where were these concerned PNP hypocrites when the PNP sat on the Bill for years doing nothing? Where were they when Portia Simpson Miller pushed her own agenda items? Where were the concerns when other Bills were pushed through by the PNP without consultation? Since you have the interest of citizens at heart, where were you all when the PNP Government forced residents in Portmore to pay toll fees to go home? They only care about advocacy while the JLP governs?
I say it as I see it, you’re all a big bunch of hypocrites trying to delay the speed at which the country is prospering. Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. Zimbabwe did it, you can too.
