Romain closes Appleton series
ROMAIN Virgo is this evening’s finale of the 2017 Appleton Estate Signature Nights series scheduled for the new Serengeti Bistro at Hope Zoo in St Andrew.
The singer, who will be backed by The Unit Band, is raring to deliver a memorable set.
“I don’t get to see my fans in Jamaica as often as I’d love to, so whenever I get the opportunity I give them 150 per cent of my energy. The performance will be filled with the best of Romain Virgo from the past and of course, a little touch of brand new music, including singles from my upcoming album. It will surely be an intimate night with me and my fans!” he exclaimed.
His highly anticipated set will draw from his repertoire of original hits and reggae covers, and will bring the curtains down on what has been a truly memorable experience for Appleton Estate Signature Nights guests throughout the year.
“This year’s Appleton Estate Signature Nights has been one of the must-attend event series of the year. We combined a premium entertainment package with the world’s foremost rum and performances by some of the biggest names in reggae music. We delivered responsible rum and reggae music across the island, with stops in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Mandeville, Negril, Old Harbour and Kingston,” said Leleika-Dee Barnes, customer marketing manager, J Wray & Nephew Limited.
“It was fitting to invite Romain Virgo to conclude this year’s series as he had an excellent track record since the inception of Appleton Estate Signature Nights in 2016, and we expect him to thrill the audience and create lasting memories for our patrons. We look forward to persons coming out to Serengeti Bistro at the historic Hope Zoo, as they enjoy our Signature X-Ale cocktail to the sweet sounds of reggae music,” she declared.
