MONTEGO Bay’s 876 Legends Sports Lounge has up the ante with the introduction of Legendary Live Show which got off to a superb start on Saturday, November 24.

The show, which received rave reviews from patrons, featured the music of saxophonist Fitzroy “Bigg Saxx” Minott and the Hard Drive Band with Rising Star alum, Marsha K on lead vocals.

The Hard Drive Band, which also featured Edward “Chinny” Campbel on drums, Orrin “OB” Bright on bass guitar, and Lamar Waltin on vocals keyboard, had patrons rocking to their all-time favourite reggae and R&B tunes.

“The energy from the audience was great, which shows that people are hungry for good music, even while they enjoy good food and good vibes at the 876 Legends,” Bigg Saxx told the Jamaica Observer at the event.

Gavin Bennett, a member of the audience,said he was already looking forward to the next show as the experience was and Montego Bay needed more of this sort of entertainment.

“The band members are highly talented and know just the right music to engage the audience. It’s an excellent initiative and 876 Legends must be commended for adding more live music in the city, as were always up for good entertainment,” he said.

Legendary Live Show is scheduled for every last Friday in the month and is free to the public.
