Body of unidentified man found in Westmoreland
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — The Darliston police are investigating the murder of an unidentified man after his body was found along the roadway in Greenwich, Westmoreland yesterday.
The police, in a release today, said the body is believed to be in its mid 30s, and is of dark complexion, medium build and about five feet six inches long.
It was clad in a red and green cap, white shirt, multi-coloured shorts and a pair of black slippers.
Reports are that about 11:40 am, the police were alerted about a man seen lying on the ground. When they arrived they saw the body lying face down in a pool of blood with a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigations continue.
