27-y-o shot dead in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — A 27-year-old labourer was shot dead by unknown assailants in Ebony Park, Clarendon yesterday morning.
Dead is Jermaine Bailey also known as Jermie.
According to reports, residents heard explosions about 7:55 am and summoned the police. On the arrival of the lawmen Bailey was seen with gunshot wounds to his head.
Bailey’s murder comes almost a month after gunmen went to a shop in a section of the community called Board Villa and robbed patrons of money and other possessions before killing a father and his two sons.
The robbers left the shop and proceeded to a house in the same yard, where 55-year-old Clifton Scott and his sons – 37-year-old Clifton Scott Jr and 20-year-old Orville Scott – were robbed and fatally shot.
