Man, woman arrested after cops find gun in Negril home

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Police in Negril, Westmoreland seized an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition during an operation in the White Hall district yesterday.

According to reports from the lawmen, during the search of a house about 8:30 am, a Desert Eagle 9mm pistol along with seven 9mm rounds of ammunition was found.

A man and woman were arrested in connection with the seizure, however the police said their identities are been withheld pending further investigations.
