Massive Pick-9 payout
Despite the early hostility to the form players on Saturday’s 10-race card, a number of individuals managed to spot the ‘outsiders’ in landing a share of the Sunrise-6, Twilight- 6 and the lucrative Pick-9 spoils at Caymanas Park.
One lucky punter spotted Band of Gold in the second event at odds of 34-1 and Cheers at odds of 5-1 to land the Pick-9, pocketing a whopping $9,037,494.
Another lucky punter spotted Sista Margarett in the first at odds of 27-1, Band of Gold in the second at odds of 34-1, and the 5-1 shot Cheers in the fifth event to carry home the $1,882,445 payout for the early Sunrise-6.
However, the Twilight- 6 was somewhat easier for the form players, as 99 individuals spotted Cheers in the fifth at 5-1 in the overlapping Twilight-6 to collect $41,724.10 each.
