Chef Deon Thomas @ Martha’s Vineyard
Foodie News… Foodie News… Foodie News…
Jamaican-born chef Deon Thomas is causing quite a stir on Martha’s Vineyard. The New York-trained chef, who is also an ordained minister, opened his fourth Martha’s Vineyard restaurant, Deon’s, inside the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall. That’s not a typo folks, Thomas has a restaurant inside a veterans’ hall.
For over a decade Chef Thomas has worked in the Hamptons during the summer while operating multiple restaurants in Anguilla during the winter. His southern-meets-Caribbean cooking style has made him a sought-after chef on Martha’s Vineyard. Thomas has had the privilege of cooking for the Obamas, Clintons and the black American literati.
Thursday Food continues to prove Jamaicans are everywhere!
