Gas prices down $0.30, diesel up $0.53
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective today, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $136.86 and $139.69 per litre, respectively, down by 30 cents each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $137.03 per litre following an increase of 53 cents while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by 24 cents, and will be sold for $141.82 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by two cents and will be sold for $118.87 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $54.96 per litre, up by 57 cents and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $60.59 per litre after a decrease of two cents.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
