Gospel act Rondell Positive, chart-topping Wayne Marshall, and rising lieutenants Shane-O and Teejay are slated to lead the entertainment package for Regional 2 of PAN 2018 at Independence Park, Black River in St Elizabeth on Saturday, September 29.

The event is free to the public and starts at noon.

“While PAN is about the men and women behind the pans, entertainment is also an important part of all our events. Since 2013, we added more variety to our line-up to ensure there was really something for everyone,” said Kemoi Burke, CB Foods’ business development coordinator.

Rondell Positive is expected to bring a religious flavour to the proceedings. With his catalogue of hits including So in Love, Fire Medley, Live and Declare and Your Will Be Done, patrons will no doubt leave the venue feeling blessed.

“I’m excited to be celebrating with the CB family this year. PAN is a great platform to ignite the message of purpose and greatness, the Kingdom message that my music carries,” said the gospel singer.

Rondell Positive, who first performed at PAN 2016, is currently promoting the single Senseless Dance.

With the current number one song, Glory to God, singer Wayne Marshall is on a musical high. His catalogue of songs — which includes Good Love, New Millennium and Overcome — is sure to keep patrons entertained.

Tracks Partner Draw and Mill Fi Share have re-energised dancehall artiste Shane-O’s career over the past year. Patrons can expect nothing short of an electrifying performance.

Montego Bay’s hot find Teejay is slated to the stage in St Elizabeth for the first time and he is looking forward to performing for his fans.

“It’s a great feeling for me, especially because it’s a corporate event and I want to show my versatility. People have me as a hardcore deejay but I know how to adjust and fit in any crowd,” said the Up Topdeejay.

He is currently making waves with the song Up Top Boss, for which a music video was recently completed by Romeich TV.

The culinary extravaganza will see pan chefs compete in a live 60-minute cook-off. A winner and runner-up will be chosen from each parish to advance to participate at the PAN Grand Final on Sunday, October 28 at the National Stadium.

Thirty participants in Regional 1 will represent the parishes of Clarendon, St Elizabeth, St James, Hanover, Westmoreland, and Manchester.

Comedian Dufton Shepherd and the Fluffy Diva Miss Kitty will guide the day’s proceedings. The event starts at noon and as always, admission is free.
