Deejay Rudie Classic is ready to set the dancehall scene ablaze with the track Feel the Vibes , produced by Blizzard Productions.

The London-based deejay, who hails from the tough inner-city community of Calaloo Bed in Kingston, is hoping the song becomes his breakthrough hit.

“This song was released over a year ago, but it didn’t get much promotion. It’s a very good song; it has all the right ingredients to make a hit: good lyrics, a catchy melody and the rhythm is wicked. My team is pushing it hard in the streets right now, and so far the response has been very positive,” said Rudie Classic.

“Many people think that if you live overseas, you cannot be an authentic dancehall artiste. Some even say that UK deejays are soft in comparison to Jamaican deejays, but I am here to let them know that I can run with the best of them. A Riverton mi come from,” he continued.

Rudie Classic is currently on the island working on new material.

“I’m working on an EP with Truck Back Records, DJ Blizzard and Prime Time Music. The EP should be ready for release before the end of the year. I’m also recording some new singles,” he said.

Rudie Classic (given name Earlington Bowes) moved to England in 1993. He launched his recording career in 1999 with a single titled Hey Mummy on the Xcon label.
