Expect increased rainfall early next week
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that Tropical Storm Kirk which is currently located across the eastern Caribbean Sea is expected to degenerate into a Tropical wave as it enters the central Caribbean Sea tomorrow.
The Met Service says the remnants of this system are expected to move into the vicinity of Jamaica early on Monday and, as a result, atmospheric conditions are expected to gradually become more unstable beginning late Sunday morning.
The forecast is for periods of showers and thunderstorms, which could be heavy at times, to begin affecting sections of most parishes on Sunday through Tuesday, especially during the afternoons.
