Water lock-off today in sections of St Andrew, St Catherine — NWC

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) says that customers in sections of St Andrew and St Catherine may experience water supply disruptions today as a result of Jamaica Public Service (JPS) power supply issues that have forced the shutdown of the Hydra Drive and Angels facilities.

Affected areas include: ST ANDREW: Smokey Vale, Diamond Road, Wireless Station Road, Mount Salus

ST CATHERINE: Angels Phase #1 & #2, Innswood Village, Dam Head, Angels Grove Fairfield Rd, Angels Vista and Angels Arcadia

The NWC, in a release, said that normal operations will be restored as soon as the JPS power supply issues are corrected.
