TSO RoundUp – October 9, 2018 (Part 3)

Tuesday Social

Meanwhile the #OTeam carpooled with the Business Access TV production crew to embark on a corporate city hop in the 2018 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and 2018 Audi Q8. At Appliance Traders Limited on Half-Way-Tree Road, there were an in-house deejay, NCB refreshments by KukUp Kreations, and “washer loads” of giveaways, ie free microwave, clothing iron, or towel set with the purchase of select items.

Over at KZK Clothing Shoes Accessories Home, storeowner and merchandiser Karlene Orr-Kellond fêted select customers at a poolside shindig at the 10 Argyle Road flagship. Prices on all store items were slashed offering a range of discounts from $2,500 to $5,000 for jackets, shorts, dresses, jumpsuits, heels, and jewellery – nothing was off limits.

Then at FurnitureLand and Karmen’s Kollection, director Carmen Brown Morrow opened the doors of her two-storey showroom which was decked out with women’s apparel and an extensive collection of home décor accents and furniture including cutlery, lawn furniture, pots and pans, rugs, and statement over-the-top home accessories.

Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out 2018 was wet but fun. It was a pleasure seeing customers braving the elements to support the initiative and give a boost to our local retailers. Next year TSO celebrates its 10th birthday. And all the stops will be pulled out for that iteration. Start saving now.

Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out 2018 was supported by NCB, Campari Pop Style, Tai Flora Luxe, Island Car Rentals, MultiLink, Business Access TV and 100.
