ROSE HALL, St James — It has been over 20 years since the production of ‘On With The Show’ was first presented at the Half Moon Conference Centre to raise funds for the building and sourcing of equipment for the MoBay Hope Medical Centre.

It was organised back then by the MoBay Hope Fund-Raising team with Weston Haughton as production director. Haughton is currently celebrating 50 years in show business.

Come Sunday, November 4, the show is once again being presented with the title ‘On With The Show… Encore’ – an evening of Music, Dance, Fashion and Magic.

This time the show is being presented for The Good Shepherd Foundation under the auspices of The Half Moon Charities.

It will feature musical performances by Claudette Miller (formerly of the group Ebony), and leading cabaret personalities, including Georgia Henry, Shawn Campbell, Alisa Flemming and Orland Bailey. ShowJam Entertainment Company, Hatfield Cultural Group and HAH-R-MONY Entertainment Group are also to set to perform at the event.

International steel pan maestro Cabot Paul, fresh from an overseas tour, is also expected to play his part with his dynamic renditions of the classics. Additional entertainment is expected from a clown act, stilt walkers and a magician.

A fashion show segment with several corporate personalities from Montego Bay modelling pieces from their personal collection is set to be a major highlight of the evening.

Participants in this segment include well-known attorney- at- law and chair of the Good Shepherd Foundation Jeanne Robinson, Alex Foster, CEO of ShowJam Entertainment; Omar Robinson; president of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association; Earl Williams, CEO of Earl’s Fashions; Wayne Cummings, director at Sandals Resorts International; Marsha-Ann Donaldson-Brown, director of Weddings and Romance at Sandals Resorts International; Joy Clark, motivational speaker and lifestyle coach; Suzette Brown, lecturer and communications specialist; Odette Dyer, regional director Jamaica Tourist Board; and Peta Gay King, marketing and entertainment director; at Pier 1.

Media personality Roxene Nickle and Issia Thelwell, Miss Jamaica World Cornwall and Miss Jamaica World 2018 first runner-up, are also expected to grace the stage. Hosting duties will be handled by Dahlia Harris.

Proceeds are in aid of the Good Shepherd Foundation’s Hope Health Clinic, Half Moon Charities.
