9TYZ making a statement
Although fairly new to the dancehall scene, fast-rising singer 9TYZ is making a statement with her EP Bad Like 90’s.
Consisting of seven tracks, the set features songs including Elevation, Best Life, Addicted, Slow Wine, and the fan favourite Mr Hot Boy. The production was done by YGF Records.
“I am just really happy with the overall love that I have been getting, so I have to say thanks to my fans,” she said.
9TYZ is also promoting the music video for Mr Hot Boy, which recently premiered. The video can be seen on other social media sites, including YouTube.
“The wait is over! The video for Mr Hot Boy is finally out and it is pretty cool. For those who have seen it, I’ve been getting nothing but love,” she said.
In the video, directed by Damanic Visualz, the singer shows off her acting skills alongside Deno Crazy, while belting lyrics that speak about a guy whose insecurities are getting the better of him. It was shot in various locations across the Corporate Area.
9TYZ said she is ready to knock down every obstacle to ensure that she has a space in this game.
“Dancehall music is dominated by males, but I’m willing to go twice as hard to create a big impact,” she added.
