Tesha Miller denied bail; returns to court in March
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reputed Klansman gang leader Tesha Miller, who is accused of ordering the murder of Jamaica Urban transit Company (JUTC) chairman Douglas Chambers, was denied bail when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court today.
Miller has been in custody since October and was denied bail by Chief Justice Bryan Sykes following an application by Bert Samuel’s.
The accused, who is charged with accessory to murder before and after the fact, is to return to court on March 19.
According to allegations, Miller gave another alleged member of the gang permission to shoot Chambers.
It is alleged that the gang members were displeased that the JUTC chairman was giving extortion money to another gang.
