Motorist killed in fiery Manchester crash

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — One man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Content main road in Manchester yesterday. 

The deceased has been identified as Dwayne Patterson.

According to police reports, about 2:30 pm Patterson was driving a Honda Civic motorcar along the roadway when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with another car before crashing into a mini mart. The impact resulted in the Honda Civic being engulfed in flames.

Patterson’s charred remains was removed from the vehicle. 

The other driver was rushed to hospital and has since been admitted in serious condition.
