Gunmen kill two in separate Clarendon shooting incidents
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Two men were shot dead in separate incidents in Clarendon yesterday, the police are reporting.
The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Steve Gayle, otherwise called ‘Ugly Man’, of Mineral Heights in May Pen, and 24-year-old old Oshane Hyman otherwise called ‘Micey’, a mason of Hayes in the parish.
Both were killed about 9:30 am.
According to reports, Gayle was at a cook shop with two other men on Old School Lane in Hayes when armed men travelling in a Toyota Yaris motor car opened gunfire at them.
The police were alerted and the three men taken to hospital where Gayle was pronounced dead. The other men were admitted.
Meanwhile, Hyman was riding a bicycle along the Hayes main road when he was attacked and shot by armed men travelling in a Toyota motor car.
The police were called and he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
